Amrheins has been a cornerstone of South Boston for over a century. On display, we have the oldest hand carved bar in America and the first draft beer pump in Boston. Our traditional style dishes stand the test of time through the changing dining trends. We pride ourselves on providing our guests with exceptional cuisine, superior hospitality, and an experience you will not find anywhere else in the neighborhood.

Using locally sourced ingredients, our menu features dishes influenced from around the world, while still focusing on New England flavors. If you do not see what you crave on the menu, or you have a food allergy, please let your server know and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.

Warm & Inviting!

Excellent food and atmosphere at Amrheins. Warm and inviting decor and delicious cuisine. Perfect spot for date night, Sunday sports viewing or weeknight with friends. Favorites include the pasta bolognese, calamari, clam chowder, and Parmesan crusted cod.

Smiles & Cheers

While it may be Saint Patrick's day, and this place could not be busier I could not have felt more taken care of. The wait staff buzzed around with smiles and cheer and the food was comforting.
